Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Sackville Street in Halifax will shut down to vehicle traffic for three weeks starting Tuesday, Oct. 20, to facilitate a development project in the area.
The street will close between Market Street and Grafton Street starting at 7 a.m. tomorrow. Pedestrians will continue to have access to the sidewalk along one side of Sackville Street throughout the closure.
That section of Sackville Street will remain closed at night and on the weekends. The street is expected to reopen to vehicles at about 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this road closure or the associated work may cause.
