December 10, at 11:00 p.m., – Members of the Central Quick Response Unit assisted by the HRP Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant in the 0-100 Block of Gaston Road. in Dartmouth. The warrant was executed without incident, the subsequent search yielded a sizeable quantity of cocaine, marijuana, an undisclosed amount of cash, a shotgun and a replica handgun. A 25-year-old man from the Dartmouth area is currently in police custody, he will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court in the morning to face numerous weapons and drug related charges.
