Monday, June 6, 2016 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that a part of Smokey Drive will be closed to traffic tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday, June 8 to facilitate installation of storm sewer pipes.
Smokey Drive will be closed between Glendale and Rogers drives. Crews will be on site each day from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Motorists can expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible. Emergency vehicles will be provided access at all times.
The municipality apologizes in advance for any inconvenience this road closure or the work may cause.
