Friday, May 30, 2014 (Halifax, NS) - Beginning on or about Monday, June 2, Dexter Construction, on behalf of Halifax Water, will be undertaking construction activity on Springvale Avenue related to the Lakeside Diversion Project.
This construction activity will require the closure of Springvale Avenue at the Chain of Lakes Trail crossing location.
This closure is scheduled to remain in effect until Monday, June 9.
Motorists using the St. Margaret’s Bay Road may experience increased traffic volumes and delays due to this closure.
Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site to maintain communication with local residents and businesses, and help minimize disruption.
Motorists are asked to use alternative routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
