On July 27 at 10:17 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of McLean Street in Halifax for a report of a stabbing. During the investigation it was learned the suspect drove the victim to hospital subsequently officers attended the hospital and arrested the suspect without incident. The victim, a 23-year-old man from Halifax, was treated for non-life threatening injuries and released. The stabbing was not a random act as the victim and suspect were known to each other. The 20-year-old accused will be attending court on July 28th to face charges of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon.
