At 11:56 p.m. on Friday, March 31, police responded to a reported stabbing in the area of Market Street and Sackville Street. The 25-year-old victim was located with a stab wound to his lower back. The victim was transported to the Halifax Infirmary where he was treated for the wound and released after receiving treatment. A male in his mid 20s was arrested in the area. The intergraded General Investigation Section is continuing the investigation at this time.
