The vehicle stolen in a break and enter/robbery yesterday has been recovered.
Yesterday afternoon at 4:30 p.m., police responded to the 0-100 block of Princeton Lane in Dartmouth to a report of a robbery and theft of a motor vehicle in progress. An 81-year-old man was forced to his basement at gun point by two suspects who demanded the keys to the victim's vehicle.
This morning at 7:30 a.m., Cole Harbour RCMP recovered the stolen motor vehicle in the 100 block of Whynder Lake Road in North Preston. Currently the Forensic Identification Unit is processing the vehicle for evidence at Halifax Regional Police headquarters.
The suspects have not been located at this time and the matter remains under investigation.
