A man faces charges after a vehicle was stolen and later recovered in Dartmouth.
Yesterday at 12:34 p.m., police responded to Slayter Street for a report of a stolen truck. A man was working in the area and when he came out of a residence his vehicle was gone. The investigation by the East Quick Response Unit resulted in officers observing the vehicle travelling on Albro Lake Road at approximately 10:30 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop and arrested a man without incident.
A 34-year-old man from Dartmouth is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court on September 30 to face charges of theft and possession of stolen property exceeding $5,000.
