Wednesday, June 17, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that starting at 8 a.m. tomorrow, June 18, a section of Summer Street will be closed to traffic while crews continue installing water pipes in the area.
This work is being done on behalf of Dalhousie University. It will affect southbound traffic only between College Street and University Avenue. Crews will accommodate access for local traffic and pedestrians will still be able to walk through the area.
This work is expected to continue through to Friday, July 10. The street will remain closed overnight and on weekends during that time. The municipality and the university regret any inconvenience this work may cause.
