Suspended Officer Faces Additional Criminal Code Charges

Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) informed Halifax Regional Police today that their officers have laid breach charges against Constable Chris Mosher.

Cst. Mosher has been charged with nine counts of breaching his court-imposed conditions in St. John’s, Newfoundland on May 10, 2014. RNC launched an investigation after receiving a complaint from a member of the public on May 7, and arrested Cst. Mosher at 12:05 a.m. on May 11 at a licensed establishment on George Street.

Cst. Mosher has been remanded into custody in St. John’s. He remains suspended from Halifax Regional Police without pay or benefits.
