On March 9, at 10:55 p.m. officers responded to the 5200 block of South Street in Halifax after a 65-year-old man was found deceased inside his residence. Forensic Identification officers processed the scene and the remains were transported to the medical examiner's office where an autopsy will be performed on March 10. Investigators with the Integrated HRP/RCMP Major Crime Unit are in the preliminary stages of the investigation.
