Theft of copper wire

Halifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance to determine who may be responsible for the theft of a large spool of copper wire from a municipal property in Halifax.

On June 15, police were called to the MacKintosh Street Depot after workers discovered that a large spool of copper wire had been stolen from a locked storage container. The theft occurred sometime between 4:30 p.m. on June 12 and 7 a.m. on June 15. The theft was noticed when workers returned to work after the weekend.
