Theft of tools from Dartmouth business

Halifax Regional Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects responsible for a theft of tools that occurred in January.

On Monday, January 11 at 12 p.m., two men stole two rechargeable batteries and an 18-gauge brad nailer kit from Prime Fasteners Maritimes Limited at 86 Troop Avenue in Dartmouth. Both men were seen leaving the store in an older model silver Honda Civic.

One suspect is described as a white man, approximately 40-years-old, 5’8”-5’10”, with an athletic build, brown hair and a receding hair line. At the time of the theft he was wearing a light grey long-sleeved t-shirt, black pants and brown shoes. The second suspect is described as a white man, approximately 30-years-old, 5’8”, with a stocky build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a blue jacket, jean coveralls, work boots and a blue baseball cap.
