Police are assisting Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency with a structure fire Duke Street in Halifax.
Duke Street between Brunswick Street and Argyle Street is closed. Carmichael Street between Brunswick Street and Argyle Street is also closed to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Police ask the public to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
