Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents there may be some minor traffic delays in downtown Halifax on Thursday, Nov. 12, as several hundred people take part in the Rally for Equality in support of CNIB and people with visual impairments.

Starting at 11:30 a.m., the group will march from Grand Parade down George Street to Hollis Street, ending in front of Province House. The rally is expected to continue in front of the legislature until about 2 p.m.

Motorists are advised to drive carefully in the area and be mindful of the large crowds of people, some of whom may have visual impairments.
