Police have a man and woman in custody in relation to last night’s homicide.
At 11:20 p.m., members of Halifax Regional Police responded to the area of Alma Crescent in Halifax for a report of a stabbing. Officers located a 25-year-old man on the corner of Ashdale Avenue and Titus Street suffering from a stab wound. The man was pronounced deceased by EHS shortly after their arrival. At 2 a.m., officers arrested a man and woman at an Evans Avenue address, and they are still in custody for questioning.
Investigators in the HRP/RCMP Integrated Major Crime Unit are continuing the investigation. Several areas remain cordoned off to allow for forensic examination, including Alma Crescent and sidewalks on Titus Street. Titus Street is open to vehicular traffic.
