As a result of an autopsy which occurred earlier this morning, the sudden death has been determined not to be suspicious.
Police Investigating A Sudden Death - September 28, 2013 (2:15 p.m.)
At 11:16 a.m., members of Halifax Regional Police responded to a sudden death call. The incident was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 0-100 Block of Highfield Park Drive in Dartmouth. Upon arrival at the scene, officers located a deceased man believed to be in his 50’s. The circumstances surrounding the man's death appear to be suspicious in nature. Police remain on-scene at the residence at this time. This investigation is in its early stages, further information will be disclosed when appropriate.
