As a follow-up to yesterday afternoon’s media report, police are providing additional information on the sexual assault which occurred on February 13 on Agricola Street and clarifying the suspect description.

A 21-year-old woman was walking on Agricola Street between West and Cunard Streets between 1:50 and 2:05 a.m. when a man standing on the sidewalk called out to her that he would phone a taxi for her. She was lured into a laneway between Sarah and Woodill Streets where the man pushed her up against the wall of a building and forced her to have sexual intercourse.
