UPDATE: Missing person found deceased
A man who was reported missing to police on December 12 has been located deceased.
Robert Patrick LaPierre was last seen at his residence in the 0-100 block of Victoria Road on December 12 shortly after 9 p.m. On December 18 at 10:10 a.m., his remains were located in an out building of a person known to him. Foul play is not suspected.

Halifax Regional Police is continuing to ask for the public’s assistance in locating a 46-year-old Dartmouth man and is releasing new photos.
Robert Patrick LaPierre was last seen at his residence in the 0-100 block of Victoria Road on December 12 shortly after 9 p.m. Mr. LaPierre is described as a heavyset white man, 5’6 - 5’7 with facial scruff and very short hair that is balding. No clothing description is available, however, Mr. LaPierre is an avid cyclist and is known to use his bicycle to get around the city. The bicycle is described as black and white mountain bike, with pink rims and may have a blue bicycle lock underneath the seat.
There is no information to suggest that Mr. LaPierre has met with foul play, however, police are concerned for his wellbeing. Officers request that anyone with information on his whereabouts contacts police at 902-490-5016.
