Tuesday, July 21, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that initial work to repair a small sinkhole at the intersection of Windsor and North street has concluded at this time. All lanes of traffic have been re-opened and traffic signals are in operation.
Halifax Water will resume work at this location beginning at 6 p.m. this evening. Traffic signals will again be turned off to accommodate this work, therefore, motorists should treat the intersection as a four-way stop. Traffic control personnel will be onsite.
During this work there will be lane drops in place. Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use alternative routes whenever possible.
The municipality apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause.
