On January 13, at 12:32 p.m., police responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision at Coburg Road near Lilac Street in Halifax. A 24-year-old man ran across Coburg Road and was struck by an oncoming vehicle, travelling in eastbound on Coburg Road. The male driver could not stop in time and the pedestrian was struck by the side of the truck. The man was assessed at the scene by EHS and did not suffer injuries. The matter remains under investigation..
