Vehicle/pedestrian collision 

Halifax Regional Police is investigating a vehicle/pedestrian collision that occurred on June 8 in Halifax. 

At 1 a.m., officers responded to a vehicle/pedestrian collision at the intersection of Jubilee and Robie Streets. A car travelling north on Robie Street struck a 32-year-old man who was crossing Robie Street in a marked crosswalk. The car didn’t stop after the collision; however the man was not injured. The man was able to provide a description and plate number for the vehicle.

This collision remains under investigation. No charges have been laid. 

Road safety is a shared responsibility. Motorists are reminded to slow down, pay attention and adjust their driving for the conditions.
