At about 3 p.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to a motor vehicle / pedestrian collision on Chainlake Drive in Halifax. A 27-year-old woman was transported to the QEII health centre with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle, a 40-year-old man, has been charged under the Motor Vehicle Act for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
