Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that beginning tomorrow, Sept. 2, Veterans Memorial Lane in Halifax will be closed to traffic at Robie Street while crews install a natural gas pipeline in the area.
The closure will be in place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily until Friday, Sept. 4. The street will be reopen overnight and on the weekend. Traffic will be able to enter and exit Veterans Memorial Lane from Summer Street and vehicles will be able to exit at Robie by making a right turn only.
Pedestrians and emergency vehicles will continue to have access to the street throughout the closure. The municipality and Heritage Gas regret any inconvenience this closure or the work may cause.
