Halifax Regional Police (HRP) is in the next phase of planning for the future and is looking to citizens for their input.
In September 2013, we launched the REenvision Project, an initiative designed to help HRP develop a 10-year strategic plan. In the months that followed, we asked our employees, key stakeholders and citizens to voice their opinion on a number of topics which allowed us to gather information about where we are, what we want and need to be, and where we want to go over the next 10 years.
From that research phase, we completed a first draft of the Strategic Plan in January and have been finalizing it over the last few months. Throughout May and June, we received employee feedback on the plan and now it’s time for you to have your say.
Between now and August 22, you’re invited to review the draft documents at halifax.ca/reenvisionhrp and provide feedback as to whether we’re on the right track.
You can provide your feedback in a number of ways:
- Email to hrppublicrelations@halifax.ca
- On Facebook at www.facebook.com/HalifaxRegionalPolice
- On Twitter @HfxRegPolice
- By mail: REenvision Project, Attn: Public Relations, Halifax Regional Police, 1975 Gottingen Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, B3J 2H1
Your input will help us become the police service you want and need us to be.
