Weapon Complaint - Central Division GO# 14-159437

This morning at 2:10 a.m., officers responded to a call of an injured person at the corner of Novalea Drive and Duffus Street in Halifax.

Upon arrival officers found a 44-year-old man who had suffered multiple stab wounds to his torso. He was taken to the QE2 by ambulance with injuries which were believed to be non life-threatening.

At this time it is believed that this and the previously reported stabbing earlier in the night, are related as the two victims were known to each other. Neither incident was random.

At this time officers from the Integrated General Investigation Section continuing both investigations.
