Halifax Regional Police responded to 607 calls for service over the weekend. Some notable incidents are as follows:
Police investigate gunshots
On November 7 at approximately 7:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of gunshots in the 3300 block of Federal Avenue in Halifax. Officers located shell casings in area. There were no reports of physical injuries or damage to any vehicles or residences in the area.
Members of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are investigating.

Police investigate break and enter
On November 9 at approximately 7:55 p.m., officers responded to a break and enter in the 1400 block of Cathedral Lane in Halifax. The victim reported that they left their residence briefly and returned to find an unknown man inside. When confronted by the victim, the suspect fled the residence. At approximately 9:20 p.m., officers located and arrested the suspect without issue. The victim was not physically injured.
A 22-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court at a later date to face a charge of unlawfully in a dwelling house.
