Friday, Aug. 21, 2015 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that starting Monday, Aug. 24, and continuing for several weeks, crews will be working on the intersections along Young Street in Halifax.
This work will begin on the section of Young between Kempt Road and Gottingen Street. Crews will be replacing the traffic signals and the curbs, as well as other infrastructure improvements. The traffic lights will continue to be operational at this stage of the work.
Crews will be on site from 9 a.m. until about 4 p.m. daily. There will be lane drops in place and motorists should expect some delays. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes, if possible, while this work is underway. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this road work might cause.
