Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that crews will be working on the traffic signals at two intersections on Young Street in Halifax overnight Wednesday, Jan. 27, and Thursday, Jan. 28.
Starting at 9 p.m. each night, the traffic signals at the intersections of Young and Robie Street, and Young and Kempt Road will be shut off and traffic control personnel will be in place for the duration of this work. Crews are expected to wrap up and the traffic lights will be turned back on at 7 a.m. the following morning.
Motorists should expect long delays and are asked to use alternative routes on these two nights, if possible. The municipality regrets any inconvenience this work may cause.
