On October 23, at 7:22 pm a 57-year-old women was crossing Williams Lake Road at Herring Cove Road when she was struck by a vehicle turning onto the Herring Cove Road from Williams Lake Road. It was dark and raining at the time of the accident. The women was taken to the hospital by EHS for non-life threatening injuries. The 61-year-old male driver was issued a Summary Offence ticket for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
