Update - Missing Youth Located
A youth who was reported missing this weekend has been located safe and sound.
Fifteen-year-old Hayden Mitchell was reported missing on January 13. He was located unharmed this morning in Halifax.
Halifax Regional Police would like to thank the media and the public for their concern and assistance in this matter.

Investigators with the HRP/RCMP Integrated Vice Unit are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing Halifax youth.
Fifteen-year-old Hayden Mitchell was last seen on January 11 leaving his Spencer Avenue residence around 8 a.m., but never arrived at school. He has since failed to return to his residence but contacted a friend on January 12 via social media. Hayden is described as a white male, 5’3”, 90 lbs., slim build, with short blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a red and black jacket, black jeans, black boots, and carrying a black backpack.
There is no evidence to suggest that Hayden has met with foul play but there is concern for his well-being. Officers request that Hayden or anyone with information on his whereabouts calls police at 490-5016.
