Halifax Regional Police is investigating an indecent act that occurred yesterday afternoon in Dartmouth.

At 3:30 p.m., police responded to an indecent act in the area of Windmill Road and Henry Street. A 9-year-old child walking in the area observed a man masturbating in a green minivan. The side door of the minivan was opened but the man did not speak to the child or pay attention to her. The child ran to her residence where she reported the matter to her mother who then called police.

The suspect is described as a white male with short brown hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing white pants and a green jacket. This is the second indecent act reported to police in this general area in last couple of days; however, police cannot say that the same suspect is responsible for both incidents.
