Halifax Regional Police is investigating a sexual assault that occurred yesterday in Halifax.
At 2:34 p.m., police received a report that a man approached a woman who was walking north on Gottingen Street towards Cornwallis Street. The man reached out and touched her in a sexual manner over her clothing. Officers responded quickly to the scene but were unable to locate the suspect who is described as a white man in his sixties, 5’8” and was wearing a dark gray parka with the hood up.
