That Halifax Regional Council approve an increase to Tender No. 18-156R, Burnside Transit Centre Roofing Replacement – Phase 1 (Purchase Order No. 2070800366) to Evolution Roofing Ltd., for changes to the contracted scope of work, in the amount of $266,598 (net HST included) from Project No. CB000082 Burnside Transit Centre Roof Repair, as outlined in the Financial Implications section of the staff report dated May 28, 2019.

Motion:
That Halifax Regional Council:
1. Award RFP 18-379-IT Service Management System Software as a Service and Implementation Services to the highest scoring proponent, KPMG for a period of five years at a total five (5) year cost of $1,488,562 (net HST included) with funding as outlined in the Financial Implications section of the staff report dated May 31, 2019 with the option to extend annually for up to an additional four (4) years, pending Ministerial approval.
2. Direct the Chief Administrative Officer to execute an agreement with KPMG for the services subject to negotiation of terms and conditions acceptable to the Chief Administrative Officer and approval of the agreement to form and authority by Legal Services, pending Ministerial approval and execute the ServiceNow User agreements which will be appended to the contract.

That Halifax Regional Council endorse the sentiments in the iMatter Climate Inheritance Resolution, which expresses a commitment to protect our communities and future generations from the risks of climate destruction, and that this resolution be forwarded to staff to consider in the development of HalifACT 2050 (the HRM climate strategy).

1. Approve 64 Events Grants for a total of $211,750 as identified in Table 1 of the staff report dated May 27, 2019 from the approved Operating Budget – C760 Community/Civic Events;
2. Approve 15 Events Grants for a total of $200,000 as identified in Table 1 of the staff report dated May 27, 2019 from the 2019/20 Culture Development Reserve Q621;
3. Pending final approval of the 2020/21 budget, approve 44 Established Community Festivals grants in the amount of $195,725 funded from C760 Community/Civic Events budget; and 15 Cultural Events & Showcases grants in the amount of $200,000 funded from Q621 Community and Events Reserve as identified in Table 2 of the staff report dated May 27, 2019 and;
4. That Halifax Regional Council:
1. Approve fifty-six (56) awards as detailed in Attachment 2 of the staff report dated April 30, 2019 for a combined total of $470,250 from Operating Account M311-8004 Community Grants; and
2. Refer the applications from Akoma Holding Incorporated and MusGO Rider Cooperative Limited not recommended for funding to staff for further consideration pending receipt of the required financial and work progress reporting from the applicants.

2. Release the appointments to the public, following ratification and notification of the successful candidates; and
