14-28187 Stabbing

On February 27, at 5:05 p.m. officers responded to a report of person being stabbed in the area of Cogswell Street and Rannie Drive in Halifax. The caller was driving by when he heard a man yell that he had been stabbed. The caller noted 3 men standing at this location. When police arrived the men could not be located. Officers checked the surrounding area without success. At approximately 7:10 p.m. the victim was located at the IWK Emergency. The 15-year-old male youth had sustained a minor stab wound to his torso. His injuries are not life-threatening. It is believed that this is the victim from the original call. At this time members of the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Unit are continuing the investigation but the victim is not cooperating with police.
