At 3:30 p.m. on May 16, a 50-year-old man parked on Agricola Street at North Street, was attempting to leave his parked position and drive onto Agricola Street when he lost control of his vehicle which went up onto the sidewalk, striking two nearby workers. One man was not injured and the other man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver was not injured. The incident is still under investigation and it hasn’t been determined if charges are going to be laid at this time.
