On Saturday, March 15 at 11:15 p.m. a 35-year-old woman was crossing the street in an unmarked crosswalk at Trillium Terrace and Bayview Road in Halifax. An 80-year-old woman was driving up Bayview Road and struck the pedestrian. EHS transported the pedestrian to the QEII hospital where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and released. The driver was charged with failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
