On January 16, at 6:37 p.m.a 16-year-old male youth was walking with another youth in the 200 block of Victoria Road in Dartmouth. He was struck by the passenger side of a car that was pulling out of a parking lot onto the road. The vehicle did not remain at the scene and the youth was not injured. The vehicle was described as a grey Ford pick-up truck, and the driver as being a man, 50 to 60-years-old with short grey hair.
The matter remains under investigation.
