Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014 (Halifax, NS) – The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that several blocks of Charles Street in Halifax will be closed to traffic on Saturday, Nov. 29, for the Urlaubs Festival featuring the North End Yuletide Market and Celebration.
Starting at noon on Saturday, Charles Street will be closed to vehicles between John and Agricola streets. The closure will remain in place until about 9 p.m. As part of the closure, only local traffic will be permitted on John Street.
The Urlaubs Festival is a great event for all ages, hosted by the North End Business Association. The festival will feature live music, a beer garden, an artisan market, family activities and crafts and much more. For more information, please the North End Business Association Facebook page.
