On May 30, 2019 at 11:29 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery that occurred at the intersection of Almon Street and Agricola Street, Halifax. The victim reported that he had been robbed with a knife by a man known to him. The suspect was able to get an undisclosed amount of money. The victim was not injured as a result of the incident. Patrol members were able to locate and arrest the suspect in the area of Gottingen Street and Buddy Daye Street, Halifax. A 56-year-old man will appear in Halifax court on May 31, 2019 to face charges of Robbery and Uttering Death Threats.
