Case 24017 - PIDs 41486515 and 40872103, Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville



Fathom Studio, on behalf of the property owner, has applied to enter into a development agreement to permit a 6-8 storey residential building at PIDs 41486515 and 40872103 off Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville.


The applicant wishes to construct a multi-unit dwelling on the site. The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:
•    A 6-8 storey residential building;
•    101 residential units with a mix of 1- and 2-bedroom units;
•    Approximately 110 vehicle parking spaces (approximately 75 surface parking stalls and 35 underground parking stalls); and
•    Approximately 9,900 square feet of amenity space for the residents of the building.

The Development Plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to the design of the proposed building, traffic impacts, parking locations, and driveway access.


The application will be considered under the Development Agreement Process.


Currently this application is at the review team stage of the process where the request is reviewed by internal municipal staff from Development Engineering [including Traffic Services], Building Standards, Civic Addressing, and Fire Protection Services as well as externally by Halifax Water and Nova Scotia Power.
