Notice of Approval
The planning documents have been reviewed by the Provincial Department of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations as per Section 223 of the Halifax Regional Municipality Charter. In accordance with Section 223 of the Halifax Regional Municipality Charter, these amendments become effective as of the date of this notice.
The planning documents can be inspected at HRM Planning and Development, 40 Alderney Drive, Dartmouth, during regular business hours.

Regional Centre Plan - The Regional Centre Secondary Municipal Planning Strategy and Regional Centre Land Use By-law are now in effect. The Regional Municipal Planning Strategy, the Regional Subdivision By-law, the Dartmouth Municipal Planning Strategy, the Dartmouth Land Use By-law, the Downtown Dartmouth Municipal Planning Strategy, the Downtown Dartmouth Land Use By-law, the Halifax Municipal Planning Strategy, the Halifax Peninsula Land Use By-law, and the Downtown Halifax Land Use By-law have all been amended.

Case 21982 - Application by WSP Canada Inc, to rezone lands at 20 Sea King Drive (PID 40789323) to TH (Town Housing) Zone from R-1 (Single Family Dwelling) Zone and to amend the lot coverage requirement to 50% for townhouses one storey above grade and 45% for all other townhouses in the TH Zone, in Dartmouth.
