Motion:
That the Heritage Advisory Committee recommend that Halifax and West Community Council:
1.    Give notice of motion to consider the proposed development agreement, as set out in Attachment A of the staff report dated December 20, 2018, to allow a twelve unit residential building located at 5720-5722 Inglis Street and schedule a public hearing; 
2.    Approve the proposed development agreement, which shall be substantially of the same form as set out in Attachment A of the staff report dated December 20, 2018; and
3.    Require the agreement be signed by the property owner within 120 days, or any extension thereof granted by Council on request of the property owner, from the date of final approval by Council and any other bodies as necessary, including applicable appeal periods, whichever is later; otherwise this approval will be void and obligations arising hereunder shall be at an end.

Motion:
That the Heritage Advisory Committee recommend that Halifax Regional Council:
1.    Initiate a process to evaluate existing potential heritage properties identified in Attachment D of the staff report dated December 28, 2018 under the HRM Evaluation Criteria for registered heritage properties under H-200, the Heritage Property By-law;
2.    Initiate a background study for the Historic Properties Heritage Conservation District that will consider additional potential heritage resources identified in Attachment D of the staff report dated December 28, 2018 within a boundary that is contiguous with the area identified in Attachment B of the staff report dated December 28, 2018, as Historic Properties; and
3.    Direct staff to prepare a program, including financial and land use incentives, for registered heritage properties located in Downtown Halifax, outside of Heritage Conservation Districts, for Council’s consideration.
