ENAt 1:16 p.m. on July 14, Halifax Regional Police and Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency responded to the 50 block of the Bedford Highway, for a Halifax Transit Bus damaged by a projectile. One adult passenger was injured and was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

ENAt 3:30 a.m. on July 14, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of single vehicle collision in the 7000 block of Quinpool Road in Halifax, involving a white SUV travelling at a high rate speed that struck a utility pole. Callers advised 911 dispatch that the driver fled on foot.

ENHalifax Regional Police is requesting the public’s assistance to identify the driver involved in a vehicle/bicycle collision that occurred in Halifax this morning.

ENAt approximately 9:50 a.m. police responded to a report of a body in the water below the McKay Bridge in the area of Africville Road. A man’s body was recovered from the water with the assistance of Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency, and turned over to the Medical Examiner Service. Due to the circumstances, the investigation has been turned over to the Department of Labour to determine if this resulted from a work place incident.

ENFifteen years ago, William MacDonald was murdered in Dartmouth and investigators with the Special Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division continue to investigate his death.
