Year over year, the number of incidents remained unchanged; there were 18 incidents reported in September 2016.

    As an update to the release below, please be advised that at 5:45 p.m. on November 4, Halifax Regional Police arrested 52-year-old Kevin Tracey Shih of Dartmouth without incident in the 0-100 block of Lamont Terrace in Dartmouth. He was transported to HRP headquarters and held for court. He is scheduled to attend Halifax Provincial Court today to face numerous arson and mischief related charges.
