ENOn December 21 at approximately 9 p.m., police responded to the Mumford Road bus terminal for a report of a pedestrian hit by a bus. The woman was transported to hospital by EHS for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The collision remains under investigation and no charges have been laid at this time.

ENAt approximately 2:50 a.m. on December 20, Halifax Regional Police responded to an assault at the Cheers Bar & Grill, located at 1743 Grafton Street in Halifax. Police did locate and arrest a 30-year-old man from Halifax. He will be facing charges of assault causing bodily harm and breach of undertaking. The investigation is on-going at this time.
