Between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on October 29, police received a complaint of an abandoned infant found in the 6000 block ‎of Quinpool Road.

Just after 9 p.m. October 29, HRP officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 0-100 block of Elmwood Avenue in Dartmouth in relation to a male who had just been stabbed.

Police respond to weekend fire and robberies

At approximately 6 p.m. October 27 staff at the Superstore, located at 3601 Joseph Howe Drive, were made aware of a small fire in a grocery isle inside the store. Halifax Fire determined that the fire appeared to have been intentionally set and was determined to be an Arson. Subsequent investigation by Halifax Regional Police identified an individual who may have been responsible.

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists that road construction will begin Monday and will continue until Sunday, Dec. 17, on Massachusetts Avenue near the MacKay Bridge on-ramp.
