The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that asphalt repairs to two sections of Cornwallis Park will take place from Tuesday, July 21 to Wednesday, July 22. Crews will be on site from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

On July 19 at 4:51 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Atlantic Wholesale Cash and Carry, located 7111 Chebucto Road, Halifax. A staff member was assaulted as they attempted to stop two men who had just stolen a grocery cart filled with energy drinks and chocolate bars.

On July 19 at 1:28 p.m., Halifax Regional Police received a report that a 34-year-old man who had been stabbed showed up at the QEII Health Sciences Centre Emergency Department. Investigators determined that he had been stabbed while in the area of the 5400 block of Inglis St, Halifax.
