At 11:20 p.m. on February 1, a 20-year-old woman was walking along Quinpool Road in Halifax when she was approached by a male who stated he had a knife and demanded money and her cell phone. A 22-year-old man will appear in Provincial Court in the morning facing charges of robbery.

A 44-year-old man entered the TD Bank on Spring Garden Road and demanded money. A short while later he was arrested and faces charges of robbery, threats, possession of weapon for dangerous purposes and possession of property obtained by crime.
