ENAt 11:20 p.m. on February 1, a 20-year-old woman was walking along Quinpool Road in Halifax when she was approached by a male who stated he had a knife and demanded money and her cell phone. A 22-year-old man will appear in Provincial Court in the morning facing charges of robbery.

ENA 44-year-old man entered the TD Bank on Spring Garden Road and demanded money. A short while later he was arrested and faces charges of robbery, threats, possession of weapon for dangerous purposes and possession of property obtained by crime.

ENAt approximately 9:02 p.m. on January 30, Halifax Regional Police members heard what they believed to be a gun shot in the area of Uniacke Street at Olympic Court. A 30-year-old Halifax man will appear in Halifax Provincial Court later today facing several firearms charges
