The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents there will be a lane drop at 1572 Barrington Street, in the southbound lane, on May 26.

On May 23, Halifax Regional Police and Halifax Regional Fire & Emergency responded to a fire in the 5000 block of Inglis Street, Halifax. The fire was inside an apartment and was quickly extinguished.

The evacuation order has been lifted and all residents are now able to return to their homes as of 6 p.m. Sunday, May 24. Please note that Exit 19 will remain closed until 9 p.m.
